The curriculum aims to inspire and challenge; preparing young people for their future. The curriculum builds on the learning acquired previously and then extends and develops knowledge, skills and understanding for future learning pathways. The aim of the school is to provide opportunities for students to develop as independent, confident, successful learners with high aspirations. Our students will know how to make a positive contribution to their community and the wider society. There will be a focus on developing children’s moral, spiritual, social and cultural understanding; building resilience and a growth mind-set. The school wants to ensure that students are well prepared for life in modern Britain.
The school provides an environment which is inclusive where students can enjoy their education and most make progress (in relation to their starting points) across a wide range of subjects and other aspects of learning. Students will be supported to ensure they can achieve their potential.
