Sixth form pathway for students who require a small, nurturing and supportive provision to enable them to achieve success at Post 16. Within the provision we promote and focus on the following 4 key areas to assist our students in developing skills for their future employment and life as young adults.

At the core of our provision is an understanding that success looks different for all students and we have put together a curriculum that will encourage personal, social, emotional and academic success. The aim is that at the end of their time with us the students will leave having developed their soft skills, increased in confidence and developed skills for life. We will work with students to assist them if they choose to transition to another course at college, apprenticeship or seek employment. Students follow King’s Trust, Functional Skills, and in addition to this various programmes are run to support better understanding of themselves.
The sixth form provision is based in Southend and the building includes modern classrooms and a courtyard space for students to use. The students attend sixth form from 9am- 2:10pm on Tuesday and Wednesday and from 9am-1pm on Thursday. The students are supported with daily life skill activities such as making their own lunch and drinks throughout the day.
Sixth form students are supported to attend activities within the community such as supported work experience and volunteering within the community.
