Impact of our Careers Programme

We believe it is very important to assess the impact of our careers programme on our students. We record student destinations at the end of Year 11 and aim to track their progress for 3 years and the information collected will be used to formulate our future programmes. We take note of the following information:

  • If students go on to a full-time course or an Apprenticeship and the place of study
  • The level of the qualification studied
  • The subject studied
  • Those going into employment
  • NEET

We are keen to get the views of students on the Careers, Education, Information, Advice and Guidance they received during time at the school and ask all students to give feedback following all careers initiatives.

Equally, we value the views of parents on how well we have helped them to support their child to make rational informed career choices. This will be done during our Parent Community meetings.

Business volunteers are also asked for their feedback on each individual careers event that they take part in.
